Primary function and relationship to total organization: - Perform client care duties under the direction of the SureCare Director. Assists with personal care needs, (ambulation, ROM), meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, errands, and other needs as specified.
- Successful functioning in this position contributes directly to the overall SureCare mission of providing the best possible care for clients.
Essential duties and responsibilities: - Client/Patient: Providers direct care under the supervision of the SureCare Director or Assistant Director.
- Answers all client/patient requests to determine needs and take appropriate action.
- Notify office of change in client’s condition including skin tears, bruises, reddened areas, falls, etc.
- Assist with bed bath, tub bath, or shower.
- Perform personal cares, hair, oral hygiene, and skin care.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Assist with all personal care duties.
- Measure and record client intake and output.
- Assist client with applying braces under direction of assigned personnel with appropriate training.
- Complete and submit daily assignment sheets and return to office weekly.
- Transports: Transport client by wheelchair as necessary for errands as needed.
- Clients: Maintain clean, safe, and orderly home.
- Utilized proper infection control practices to inhibit the spread of infection.
- Make clients bed(s).
- Maintain a safe and orderly client home.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- All other duties as assigned by the office.
