New year will bring changes to Thalman Square

Décor trends come and go as time goes by. On the heels of a recently completed redecorating project at Windhaven Assisted Living, a new look is being designed for the attached Thalman Square Memory Support Assisted Living, which opened in 2006.

The town square concept that featured a mayor’s office, city hall, movie theatre and ice cream parlor will give way for larger community spaces, a lighter and brighter feel, and cleaner lines.

A timeline for the work is being developed. Watch future issues of The Journal for progress updates throughout the year.

Updated family-style dining rooms will be part of the plan.

New flooring and furniture will be featured as part of the renovation.
